Michael Le Garst – Graduated in Probation Studies at Kingston University, after an original career in marketing. Worked within the London Probation Service, and latterly responsible for training and recruitment of new officers whilst teaching mostly Home Office sponsored students. Currently Chair of the Sussex Beacon Board, a residential and day centre for people diagnosed with HIV. Appointed in 2002 as an independent member of the Standards Panel of the East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service. As a keen theatre goer, I am Chair of the Board of a new theatre company base in Brighton.
Andrew Neil Harvey – Andrew was educated at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School, Sutton Coldfield. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Spicer & Pegler before moving into industry, principally with the building material group Jewsons. He joined National Express Coaches soon after privatisation and was Finance Director for eight years.
Alan Anthony Legg – Alan was educated at George Dixon Grammar School, Edgbaston, Birmingham. His principal career was with Birmingham City Council where he was ultimately Assistant Director, Housing Management, responsible for the management of 100,000 properties. More latterly was the Assistant Director for IT and Service Transformation at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
Nick Sabine – Educated at Bedford School and University of Exeter with a BA honors degree. Career has principally been with the Bank of England in various key departments from 1972, which culminated in becoming a Bank of England Regulator between 1987 and 1998. Outside of the Bank of England Nick has worked as a senior compliance manager of Ansbacher & Co Ltd and Calyon/ Credit Lyonnais Bank until 2005. Such roles have given Nick a wide experience in the implementation of prescribing procedures, policies, controls and compliance management to mention just a few, which enables him to oversee accounting and reporting systems with a forensic eye.
