For the third year running, a Which? survey has voted John Lewis and Waitrose as Britain's favourite retailers (23 January 2008). In fact, John Lewis has been voted the UK’s favourite retailer in a poll of over 6000 shoppers. The Consumer Satisfaction Index 2008, carried out by retail analysts Verdict Research, asked customers to rate retailers in terms of range, price, convenience, quality, service, ambience, facilities and layout.
